5 Exciting Movies Coming in 2024

#1: Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire After the Oscar winning Godzilla Minus One came out in 2023, the next movie is coming out in late march. The premise is that Kong and Godzilla will have to face a big threat lying deep inside earth. This movie has high expectations after the large success of Minus One. It's also one of the first times the characters have been allies. It will be releasing March 29th (Photo:AVGK04).

#2: Joker: Folie à Deux The long awaited sequel to Joker from 2019 is finally coming soon! The first Joker had great success. It received 11 Oscar nominations. The lead, Joaquin Phoenix, won best male actor from this movie too. In the sequel, Joaquin Phoenix will be playing the joker again except in this movie we will get a Harley Quinn character played by Lady Gaga. Joker was a movie based in the early 1980’s where joker is a comedian by day and a criminal mastermind by night. The next movie will explore more of his adventures with Harley Quinn, releasing October 4th (Photo: goodfon.com).

#3: Deadpool & Wolverine Deadpool finally gets to be a part of the marvel universe in the upcoming film Deadpool & Wolverine. This will be the third movie of the Deadpool series starring Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, and the iconic Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. This will be the first movie of these two teaming up and they will work together to take down a common enemy. The Deadpool series have done pretty well due to the mixture of comedy and combat in the movies. #4: Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga The next movie in the popular Mad Max Saga is about Furiosa, who was lost from home as a kid and taken by a infamous biker group. This group is extremely powerful and they destroy everyone in the wasteland. Furiosa, though, hates this life, and her goal is to escape the group and go back home where she belongs. Can she do it? #5: A Quiet Place: Day One A spinoff of the original series, A Quiet Place: Day One, is an upcoming film starring Joseph Quinn and Lupita Nyong’o. The original series is based around 400 days after the attacks on earth. This movie is based on day 1, where Earth is spontaneously attacked by aliens. The characters of Quinn and Nyong’o will be trying to survive the vicious monsters which are trying to kill everyone on Earth. The film will be released on June 28th (photo: paradisa nunni).
