Some teachers support using phones as learning tools when the rules are followed, They believe phones can enhance learning instead of harming it.
Phone usage is very common in school, but Ohio Senate Bill 158 aims to change that. Introduced on May 14th of this year, the bill proposes an absolute ban on phones in schools.
While tests can give teachers an idea of what prior knowledge a student has, or understanding of the content, it is not a true insight into the student's actual amount of learning.
