This is a picture of the starting front three for Newcastle United (Left, Harvey Barnes) (Middle, Nick Woltemade) (Right, Yoanne Wissa).
Newcastle are on the rise, and they bring tremendous pressure going into the game to scare the opposition. The front line of the Magpies lead the way with Nick Woltemade starting at striker. Coming over from Eintracht Frankfurt, Newcastle signed him to a $70 million dollar contract for 4 years. They also brought in a well renowned striker Yoanne Wissa. The Magpies signed him for a $55 million 4 year contract that lasts until 2029. The front three attack strikes fear into the defenders with Harvey Barnes, Nick Woltemade, and Yoanne Wissa.
Newcastle has been having an average season winning 11 games, tying 6, and losing 12. They sit at 12th place in the Premier League on March 11th. The upcoming games for Newcastle aren't the best, they play Chelsea away at Stamford Bridge, Barcelona away at Camp Nou, Sunderland Home at St. James Park, and Arsenal away at The Emirates Stadium. I predict that Newcastle will finish 9th in the table, not a bad season but definitely underwhelming. In 2027 that will change. I believe that Newcastle will be in the top 3 and will win it all in the 2027 Premier League.
I believe Newcastle will make many good moves during the offseason and sign someone that's very good, but I also think we will get rid of some good people. When it comes to stadiums St. James Park is ranked one of the hardest stadiums to play in with the Toon Army backing up the Magpies. When teams come into St. James park the Toon Army makes sure to get in their head right away and the level of pressure rises when they walk in to get a feel of the pitch.
Newcastle definitely can win the Premier League but late game finishes kill their confidence leading to losses or ties. But I believe they will work on late game scenarios during the offseason and come back even stronger. I believe that our goalies will also become better with Nick Pope and Aaron Ramsdale.
These two share games and minutes but Aaron Ramsdale is on loan from Southampton so at the end of the season he will return back to Southampton in the end (Left, Nick Pope) (Right, Aaron Ramsdale).
These two share games and minutes but Aaron Ramsdale is on loan from Southampton so at the end of the season he will return back to Southampton in the end. But I believe Newcastle will sign a good backup keeper and we will replace Aaron Ramsdale with a class goalie. Newcastle's only setback today is their defense and late game results. I believe if Eddie Howe the manager can train them for those scenarios the Magpies will win many more games than they have in the past. Newcastle United have been characterized as a lazy, bad, and horrendous team. With all being said I think the front 3 will carry the Magpies on their back and carry them to victory and win the Premier League and return back to the Champions League.
