These predictions are based on how the season has been going so far. These are also based on my opinion and they are teams I think have the highest chance of winning this season based on how they have performed at the start of the season and how they played during those games. (Photo: NBA)
Record 11-4
Starting the season strong with a win streak of 9 games before they lost their first game against the Atlanta Hawks, the Bucks by far have the best start this season. They have a good starting lineup with the main man Giannis Antetokounmpo, Grayson Allen, and Jhur Holidayand. I think they will continue to perform at this level and they could be a real issue for other teams in the playoffs, and have chances of being an NBA Champion contender. (Photo: NBA)
Record 13-3
This is a team that made it to the 2021-2022 NBA Championship, and they have a similar roster this season with Jayson Tatum, Marcus Smart, and Jaylen Smart all returning. Even though they lost in the finals last year to the Golden State Warriors, they are already showing that they are going to be a threat for other teams. Jayson Tatum is already showing his scoring ability by averaging 31.9 points per game and rebounding ability with 7.4 rebounds per game. With a team so similar to last year's Championship team, they are going to be one of the best this year. Plus Jayson Tatum is a real MVP contender this year. (Photo: NBA)
Record 10-7
Ja Morant continues to show that he is going to be one of the best point guards the league has ever seen with his insane athleticism. Plus Ja Morant is an MVP contender this year. Ja is averaging 29.3 points per game and 6.8 assists per game. Steve Adams is getting to the board with 10.9 rebounds a game, which is going to be a major help to Ja Morant, and is a major threat on defense. They may not be the highest on this list but the season is still young and they still have tons of games to play to perform. If they keep playing the way they have, then they could be NBA Champions contenders. (Photo: NBA)
Record 10-6
Damian Lillard is their current PG, and he is averaging 28.6 points per game and 6 assists a game. The Blazers have the help of Anferee Simons who is averaging 22.3 points a game and Jusuf Nurkic who is getting to the boards with an average of 10.6 rebounds a game. If these three guys continue to perform the way they are and play good defense then they are going to be a threat. I think that if Damian and Anfernee Simons continue to put up the amount of points they have so far this season, the Portland Trail Blazers can be real contenders for the 2023 NBA Champs. Record 10-6
Donovan Mitchell is really showing out this season, averaging 31.1 points and 6.1 assists per game. If Mitchell continues to perform the way he has and his teammates continue to help out and contribute throughout the season, they could be a big threat in the playoffs in the Eastern Conference and possible NBA Champ contenders.
