Kaiden and Ryan review the movie Harold and Kumar!

Harold and Kumar- Trip to White Castle This fun and entertaining movie features popular actors like Kal Penn as Kumar and John Cho playing Harold. The story line in this movie is a great watch for older teens going into the mature audience. This movie is about these two friends on a Friday night trying to make an adventurous memory. The two friends Harold and Kumar are watching television trying to find something to do for the night. A White Castle commercial appears on the TV and they think the famous White Castle sliders look delicious. They have never tried White Castle sliders before so they make the journey to the restaurants. The White Castle location was nowhere close to Harold's apartment. It was almost an hour away. They leave Harold's apartment to go on their late night journey. However, their quest to try the new sliders had a few conflicts on the way. First they followed the directions to the first White Castle but it didn’t exist anymore. They had to travel further into New Jersey to go to the other location. This is where the film becomes very comedic with twists and turns. They get followed by the police and out drive them in the chase. They manage to escape but run into a forest during the process. Their car is deep into the forest so they resort to hitchhiking to get a ride to White Castle. This is where we leave on a cliffhanger. Go check it out!

Kaiden After watching “Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle” I believe this would fall in my top 10 movies of all time. I've never laughed harder while watching a movie like this one. The humor that was used in this movie made me laugh a lot. I would assume that some people wouldn’t find the movie's humor funny but the majority in my opinion would like this type of movie. I would recommend this movie for an older audience because of some of the profanity used, although I would rate this movie a 9.5/10 on enjoyment. The management and production of this movie was a great success. I thought this movie was filled with a bunch of scenarios that you would never expect to be in a movie. For example the police chase came out of nowhere and I never expected that to happen.

Ryan’s Review: After watching this movie, I would encourage others to watch this with your friends. It involves slapstick humor that would appeal to those who enjoy those types of movies. In fact one of my favorite scenes is the end where the two actors make it to the White Castle. This is a great and funny resolution to the movie after all of the experiences they have gone through. Also, this is a great movie for someone that isn’t looking to pay close attention to everything that is happening. The overall plot of this movie makes it so that everyone can follow along no matter where you join in. Given all of these factors of the movie, I would give this movie a 9/10 for total enjoyment.

Overall this movie was a great success. On July, 20th 2004 it was rated R. The total box office revenue was $23.9 million US dollars.
