There is a very cool shop called Grandview Cycle in the inside of the Grandview Square. This is a small bike shop with incredible employees and top of the line bikes. The people here are very nice and welcoming. There are two people that are usually there. It's the manager which is Jack and an employee named Matt. Jack is always there and is Always ready and willing to help. He is very welcoming and caring for all of the customers. Jack has been there for almost a year and has grown the bike shop so much since before he got there.
In 1937, a guy by the name of Bob Hexter started a bicycle company out of his garage and then expanded to a store space on First Avenue in Grandview Heights. This grew over to Grandview and this is where it got the name of Grandview Cycle. This shut down after some years and it reopened in 2016. This reopened on 5th Avenue and was a very good business then closed after two years.
It is now in its current space which opened in 2019 and is still on Grandview Ave. It is a lot smaller now but they are continuing to grow out. The grandview bike shop has many different bike brands that are very popular and very respected. Most of these brands are very big and have been around for a long time.

One brand is Giant. Giant is a very good brand and has been around for a very long time. This brand covers all types of bikes and all prices. A second brand is Liv. Liv is the women's version of giant and based on their bikes. Liv is a little newer than Giant but not much newer.
A third brand is Revel. Revel bikes is a brand based mostly on mountain bikes. These are more higher end bikes. Revel bikes is a newer brand made in 2016 and is made out of Colorado. The fourth is Cannondale bikes. Cannondale bikes are very nice and also cover all of the prices and types of bikes. This brand is also a very old brand and is very popular with many people and bike shops. Grandview Cycle also had a couple others before.
They used to have Jamis bicycles and Look cycles. They still have some of the Jamis and Look and are selling them for a little bit of a cheaper price. Grandview Cycle also offers accessories from a variety of companies. They sell Handup gloves and 100% gloves. They sell Giro helmets that are very good and have a very big price range from very expensive to a very good price. They also have park tool tools. The owner also made their own bike wheel brand called AIR Wheels. These are carbon bike wheels. They have road bike wheels and also mountain bike wheels that are called the AIR Waves. The price range of these wheels are $1,200 to $2,000.
Grandview Cycle is also connected to Baer Wheels on High Street and also Cyclists Connection in Canal Winchester. The two owners of Baer Wheels (Dave Baer) and Cyclists Connection (Ric Noland) opened Grandview Cycle.
