Cyclist Connection

Cyclist Connection is a very cool bike shop in Canal Winchester. This is a bike shop owned by Ric Noland. Ric Noland is one of the nicest and most caring bike shop owners. He always listens to his customers and changes with their helpful feedback. He has a very close relationship with all of his amazing customers.

Cyclist Connection opened in 1997 by Kevin and Laura Oliver. It was then bought by Ric Noland in 2000 and he changed it a lot. He has added that every bike that is sold in his shop has free labor for the rest of the bike's life. This is the first shop to add this into their shop.

In 2006 Ric Noland purchased a new plot of land and building. This new building was just about 3,500 square feet big. This is a very big store and it is very nice on the inside. In 2007 they did a really cool fundraiser. They raised money by riding around and getting donations. They raised over 40,000 dollars for autism research. They did this by doing a month long bike ride across the United States to california.

In 2008 they became the first Giant dealership and Podium store in all of Ohio. They also got a brand new wrapped truck and remodeled the whole store with new lights and walls and many more amazing things.

In 2010 the owner, Ric Noland made his own set of mountain bike and road bike wheels. These are called AIR wheels which stands for American Independent Racing. These AIR wheels cost from $1,200 to $2,300. They are top of the line carbon fiber wheels that are tested to be the strongest wheels made right now.

Cyclist Connection also made a brand new mobile phone app that is available to everyone. In 2012 they made a new hashtag that was #showusyourbottle. This hashtag was made to be taken all over the world to share each other's love for biking. In 2017 they partnered with Enigma Cycles from the UK and they introduced a Cyclist Connection series of Enigma Cycles bikes.

In 2022 they marked their 25 year anniversary and opened a second shop in Grandview Heights called Grandview Cycles. They also started to sponsor with Brewdog and open a big patio on the Cyclist Connection space. This shop has been through so much and has grown more than any store I've seen.

They have so many brands like Giant, Cannondale, Specialized and so many more. All of these bike brands are very big and are very respected across the world. They have bikes from very expensive mountain bikes to very expensive road bikes all the way to very affordable travel bikes. They will have everything you need to get riding. They have clothing and so many accessories. I would recommend this store to anyone that is in need of a new bike or any type of new accessories. They will have everything that you will ever need to get outside and start riding again.
