Opium Label Album Rankings

20. Snot or Not: This is Homixide Gang’s 3rd studio album, it doesn’t have as much notoriety as any of the other albums. In my opinion, there is not much of a difference from Homixide Lifestyle or Snotty World, It seems to me as just a time filler before 5TH AMNDMNT. Standout songs are “Uzi Work”, “ADHD” and “Homixide Language”

19. NezzusDestroyed: This is Destroy Lonely’s first studio album, this is a partial reason why, seeing as it was his first album. along with the reason that it is a collaborative album with Nezzus. It isn’t up to par with current day Destroy Lonely’s production. It's tough to rank this one but I believe it belongs in the #19 spot. Standout songs Are “Smash Bro’s ft CandyPaint” and “Add it up”

18. Teen X: As iconic as Teen X is, It's very hard to rank this album high, seeing it’s an EP, but I felt the need to include it for how it kickstarted Ken Carson into his fame. The hit song “Yale” blew up on tiktok with multiple videos bringing the track to be his most streamed song. Fun fact; Yale previewed to less than 100 people on InstaGram Live! Standout songs being “Yale” and “Meds”

17. Snotty World (Deluxe): This is Homixide’s first studio album, it was around the time they had first been introduced to Playboi Carti from their debut single “SSN”. This album was very entertaining to listen to, but it's very repetitive like most of their albums. Most songs were carried by the production or feature. Standout songs being “5unna ft. 5unna”, “55 Lifestyle” and “Step Daddy ft. Bigg”

16. 3: This is Lone’s 3rd studio album. It had some major flaws as it was a fairly small album, the deluxe is what helped this album very much. It lacked difference from the rest of his albums. Notable songs being “Oh Yeah” and “Miley Cyrus”

15. Darkhorse: This is one of Lone’s lesser known albums. Darkhorse is his 2nd studio album where he was evolving his sound to be how it is now. This was his first solo album seeing as his first album was a collaboration album. Popular songs being “Vvs Valentine” and “Eazy”

14. If Looks Could Kill (Digital): If looks could kill is Destroy Lonely’s 7th studio album, this is the album that brought major attention to Lone. He had released a single titled “if looks could kill” which is how the album got its name. It had blown up on tiktok with memes about the Opium style. Standout songs being “If Looks Could Kill”, “money & sex ft. Ken Carson'' and “Raver”

13. NOSTYLIST: NOSTYLIST is the album that somewhat made him popular, and growing faster than most in the underground. NOSTYLIST is Destroy Lonely’s 5th studio album, releasing in 2022. It had a very successful deluxe album which I have higher in this list. You may be wondering, “Why at #13 if it's one of his best?” I feel like it deserves a near middle ground for the reason that other albums deserve more praise. It’s also very tough to rank seeing as it has so many good songs, but so does the deluxe and some other popular songs. Popular songs from this album are “NOSTYLIST”, “JETLGGD”, “VTMNTSCOAT”, and “VETERAN ft. Ken Carson”

12. X: X was the album that jumped ken carson into a more popular place in the rap scene, he had created his own sound where multiple artists had used such as OsamaSon. X sold 49,000 units when it was released on July 8th 2022. He hit no. 11 on the hit 100. Hit songs from X are ones like “MDMA ft. Destroy Lonely”, “Freestyle 2”, and “Murda Musik ft. Destroy Lonely"

11. Homixide Lifestyle: Lifestyle if Homixide’s second studio album, it was a huge step in the right direction with a boost in production, more features, and better promotion. Notable features being Destroy Lonely, Biggaveli, and Ken Carson. This is also what brought them into a bit more fame with their hit song “Lifestyle”. Standout songs being “Lifestyle”, “Drakon!” and “TF! Ft Destroy Lonely and Biggaveli”

10. Project X: This was an easy ranking, a very simple one for a middle ground. Project X was Ken’s first studio album, hitting 43 on debut in the billboard hot 100. Ken had begun to get popular around this time with a popular hit being Yale, which then led him to release this album. These notable songs being “Run + Ran”, “Rock N Roll”, and “Clutch”

9. NS+ (ULTRA): This is the follow up,or deluxe version, of NOSTYLIST. As I said before, it has so many more songs along with the same popular ones from the original album. A small fact about the album; the title “NS+ (ULTRA)” comes from it being a NOSTYLIST deluxe (+). The Ultra comes from his cat, whose name is Ultra. Popular songs are “NEVEREVER”, “BLITZ”, and “TURNINUP”

8. If Looks Could Kill (Director's Cut): This is the deluxe version to the previous If Looks Could Kill, quite a few hit songs were added although it being a small change. Destroy Lonely had released this and it had sold 29,000 units and hit 18 on the hot 100. Popular songs being "By The Pound", "Catch A Kill", and "Too Damn Rich".

7. 5TH AMNDMNT: 5TH AMNDMNT is Homixide’s most recent, and 4th studio album, It had a very good result with multiple popular hits and the Homixide fanbase growing with the release of this album. 5TH AMNDMNT debuted at 14 on the hot 100 releasing on October 27, 2023. Popular songs being “B5”, “5ONJOUR”, and “ROAD RAGE”

6. Playboi Carti: Playboi Carti’s self-titled album released in 2017 to immediate popularity. This was Carti’s first studio album, releasing EPs before such as “In Abundance”. Playboi Carti has been popular in recent times from songs like “Fetti ft. DA$H and Maxo Kream” and “Broke Boi”. Carti had one of the most popular songs, creating one of the most popular New York dances, the Milly Rock. Carti dropped an instant classic with this album. Popular songs are “Magnolia”, “Wokeuplikethis*”, and “New Choppa ft. A$AP ROCKY”

5. XTENDED: XTENDED was the deluxe to Ken’s studio album X, he had released this on Halloween 2022. Ken added a few popular songs to this deluxe to enhance the album. Those songs mainly being “Freestyle 3” and “Shoot”.

4. Whole Lotta Red: Most people would put this at 1, me personally there are better albums. As iconic of an album this was, releasing on Christmas Day, 2020, I still think it could’ve used a bit more work. Major problems being the fact it was delayed multiple times and had two unfinished versions. If the original version of WLR had released this list would be ranked differently. This was a huge experimental jump for Playboi Carti. From Trap Rapper to Rockstar, he had made the huge jump not many rappers wanted to take the risk. This album specifically is the one that allowed him to headline many events including Rolling Loud. Standout songs being “Rockstar Made”, “New N3on”, “Stop Breathing”, and “Go2DaMoon ft. Kanye West”

3. 3(2): This is Destroy Lonely’s Best and 4th This was a revamped and some would say a deluxe version to 3. This album was released in 2020 and fixed the problems of the original album. It had gotten diversity and had brought a popular fanbase. Popular songs being “Dover Street Market”, “Tokyo Mission Impossible”, And “Do or Die”

2. A Great Chaos A Great Chaos, this is Ken Carson’s 4th and most recent studio album. This life changing album released on Friday the 13th, October 2023. This being at #2 so soon would be a shock to some, but to the listeners from the day it released would understand. It had some big features including Destroy Lonely and Lil Uzi Vert. This album had top tier production, great flow, and a killer tracklist. Standout tracks being “Paranoid ft. Destroy Lonely”, “Jennifer’s Body”, “Me N My Kup”, and “Fighting My Demons”

1. Die Lit: Where should I even start? This is a generational gem that paved the way for many artists deserve nothing less than first. The 2018 Playboi Carti album Die Lit is the album that jumped Carti into stardom. He had one of the most popular sets on 2018’s Camp Flog Gnaw, a music festival run by Tyler, The Creator. He had popular features such as Young Thug, Bryson Tiller, Skepta, and Nicki Minaj. Carti had mostly jumped into the mainstream after this album hit number three on the billboard 200 and sold 61,000 units on debut. Hit songs being “R.I.P”, “Lean 4 Real”, “Choppa Won’t Miss”, and “Long Time - Intro”.
